8-Jun-2010 - back in paradise at beautiful beaches in northeastern Brazil, it is shame it is completely dark by 6 p.m.

4-Jun-2010 - Over-vacationed, holidayed-out. Today I took the last one of well over 300 long distance bus trips in Latin America. It is time to go home!
4-Jun-2010 - I love Oscar Niemeyer's work, Sao Paulo, Rio and Belo Horinzote have great examples but here in Brasilia his buildings are on every corner.

5-Mar-2010 - is surprised to discover that there are more record shops and book stores in Buenos Aires than in London.
2-Mar-2010 - is enjoying Buenos Aires very much. It just became one of my top 10 favourite cities.
26-Feb-2010 - arrived in the 4th Buenos Aires on this trip, but this time it is the proper one. It reminds me of Madrid a bit but feels much bigger.

17-Jan-2010 - is enjoying a swim in the pool, the first one in a hostel since Nicaragua. The Pacific in Chile is just too cold, even in the summer.

21-Dec-2009 - First flight in 15 months, also first landing on a sand strip rather than a runway. It was nice to see the Andes from above for a change.
